One of the Philadelphia city highlights is the City Hall Building. And it is especially a gorgeous place for wedding photographs. It offers so many various angles and backgrounds that can help to create some unique breathtaking images. One of our biggest favorites is to take photos of our brides and grooms under the City Hall arches. They boast huge bright chandeliers which always add a beautiful bright pop of color to the photograph, making it extra vibrant and colorful. The overall architecture of this magnificent historic building serves as a perfect backdrop for dramatic wedding pictures, especially for the white wedding gowns and veils.
On this photograph we placed our stunning bride Natalie slightly in front of the gates in order to get more of natural light on her face and have her separated from the dim background. Natalie was wearing a very long cathedral veil which we also wanted to highlight in the best way possible. We asked one of her bridesmaids to assist us with throwing the veil up in the air and quickly step aside. After a few tries, we were lucky to get this beautiful photo for our bride, which definitely became one of of her favorites.
