The Stotesbury Mansion weddings are always gorgeous! This wedding venue, located in the center of Philadelphia, has its own unbeatable charm and exquisite style. The bride and groom were both getting ready at the venue and had their first look just outside the main entrance of the Mansion, on Walnut Street. Right after the First Look, we headed to the Rittenhouse square to photograph the bride and groom's portraits together. It was a perfect warm sunny day, regardless the fact that it was just the end of March. The sun was bright and there were tons of direct natural light which worked great for some vibrant and colorful photographs. Since the couple didn't have a bridal party, we had plenty of time to photograph just two of them together. It is always beneficial for pictures to have a timeline that has a good amount of time allotted specifically for this kind of pictures. It will insure a more relaxed and stress free atmosphere for the couple, which in its turn will result in a better wedding day imagery.
Photographing a wedding at the Rittenhouse Square can be quite challenging sometimes, especially on weekends. This park tends to be always crowded since it is located in the center of Philadelphia. However, there are a lot of gorgeous secret spots and backgrounds that can be used in order to avoid all the distractions.
