As Philadelphia wedding photographers, we have such a great multitude of gorgeous locations to photograph at! Philly is incredibly rich for its impeccable Old City charm, magnificent architecture and atmosphere of romance. Photographing weddings in this marvelous city is always a treat. We absolutely love shooting at the Independence Square Park, The Second National Bank of the United State, The Washington Square Park, City Hall, Merchants Exchange Building, Carpenter's Hall, Rittenhouse Square etc. All these locations are stunning in a unique way and we are always happy to provide our couples that many options for their wedding day photography.
This particular photo was taken during the bride and groom portraits together at the Second National Bank of US. They both started their day getting ready at the Franklin Hotel, which is right across the street. Then we had the bridal party photos following at the Washington Square Park. The wedding ceremony and the reception were held at Union Trust, one of the Philadelphia's most breathtaking and magnificent wedding venue.
When composing this photographs, we kept some key steps in mind. There were a lot of geometrical elements present in the background and we had to take that into consideration. The photo had to look perfectly symmetrical in order to bring the viewer's eyes directly to the couple. We used only natural light here, which was exactly were we need it to be to lit the bride and groom in a right way.
