Shannon and Ron got married on a bright crisp November day in Philadelphia. Both bride and groom were getting ready at their parents homes accompanied by their bridal party. From the beginning of the day the atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter and anticipation and I knew it was going to be an amazing unforgettable day for the couple and their families!
Philadelphia Saint Anselm Church Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony was held at the Saint Anselm Church in Philadelphia. Ron saw Shannon for the first time on the day of the wedding when she was walking down the aisle with her dad and it was such an incredible moment to document! The alter area was filled with some remarkable natural light falling from the church window directly on the bride and groom. And as a wedding photographer, I couldn’t ask for a better scenario for a wedding ceremony!
Once the ceremony was over, we headed to the Race Street Pier for bridal party portraits, which is one of my favorite Philadelphia location for wedding photos. The newlyweds fearlessly braved the cold and windy weather and we were lucky to get the last rays of sunlight and some incredible views of the Ben Franklin Bridge.
Down Town Club Philadelphia Wedding Reception
The wedding reception was held at the beautiful Down Town Club by Cescaphe in Philadelphia. Since we had plenty of time left before the party, we were able to capture some dramatic portraits of Shannon and Ron inside the ballroom. Phenomenal amber uplighting was perfectly marched with candle lit tables and served as a perfect backdrop for indoor photos. Shannon and Ron performed one of the most beautiful first dances I’ve ever seen and rest of the night was filled with countless memorable moments!
