Front and Palmer is one of the most unique Philadelphia wedding venues. Located in the Northern Liberties, this quirky, industrial venue has some impeccable character that has been attracting newly engaged couples for many years. If you google search 'Front and Palmer wedding photos', you can instantly recognize this place. With its exposed brick walls and one-of-a-kind industrial light fixtures, this Philadelphia wedding venue is simply breathtaking.
We love photographing weddings at Front and Palmer because this wedding venue is exactly out style! Dark, moody backgrounds, amber brick wall uplighting, intimate reception setting created by candlelit table decor, extravagant chandeliers and unbeatable ambiance - there are so many reasons to fall in love with this place instantly.
When is comes to wedding photography, Front and Palmer has so much to offer for gorgeous photo opportunities. Once you come through the main entrance of the venue, you will be stunned by a beautiful dimmed lobby featuring an exquisite lighting fixture, that we find interesting to use for photographs.
The main reception space at Front and Palmer can also serve as a perfect backdrop for wedding photos. We especially love photographing the bride and groom inside the empty space decorated for ceremony or reception before the guests come in. It allows us to capture the two of you in a more intimate setting in front of all of the beautiful floral and lighting decor.
During the wedding ceremony at Front and Palmer we will usually use the ambient light available in the room. The top photo above is a perfect example of that. There were a few spotlights coming from the ceiling that lit the bride and groom. It was a perfect solution for this ceremony and I absolutely love how it looked like on photographs.
We usually have a different lighting setup for wedding receptions at Front and Palmer. We will mainly use our flashes to lit things like first dance, speeches, parent dances, cake cutting and guests dancing.
At some point during the wedding reception, it is always a great idea to come outside for some nighttime photos. We love creating a few final romantic photos of the bride and groom together, possibly featuring the venue or the city during the night. It is always a beautiful unique addition to your wedding photo collection and we promise, you'll love those nighttime photos!
