Your wedding photography experience with us starts long before your wedding day. From your initial email or call to the final album delivery, we strive to create a seamless, worry-free and enjoyable process. Wedding is a once-in-a-life-time event that requires professional, personalized and experienced approach. We get it, and we want to put your mind at rest. Here is what our process looks like to insure your wedding photography journey is smooth, enjoyable and exciting:
We set up a time for a phone call or in-person meeting at our studio and talk all about your wedding plans and vision you have for your wedding photographs. During this meeting/call you can have all of your questions answered. We will also discuss things like timeline and portrait locations to help you determine how many hours of photography would be necessary for your day.
After our phone call/meeting, we will send you an email with a link to a custom quote for a proposed photography collection, which will include your package details, payment schedule and a wedding photography contract to review.
Your date is officially secured with us once the contract is signed and the retainer is paid. All you have to do is approve your online quote, submit a quick contact questionnaire, sign the contract online and submit your payment (mail a check or pay with a credit card). Just one link and a few steps is all it takes for you to book!
Engagement sessions are booked on Mondays through Thursdays, since our weekends are mainly reserved for weddings. The ideal start time for the engagement session is around two hours before the sunset, also know as a 'golden hour'. So if you already have a date in mind for your engagement session and want to know the approximate time that your session will start, just google, for example, 'Philadelphia sunset time October 10' and subtract two hours. That will be your your ideal engagement start time. We ask you to let us know at least 2-3 months in advance about your desired date for the engagement session, especially for our busiest months like May, September and October.
Three months prior to your wedding day, we will set up a phone call and talk through the itinerary for your wedding day in depth. After this phone call, you will receive a detailed custom wedding timeline that we put together just for you.
We will arrive a little ahead of time, check your hotel room number, scout the location if necessary and then show up at your suite and get straight to work! From that moment on, we want you just to enjoy your day, be present, have fun and leave the rest to us. Within a week after your wedding, we will post a few sneak peeks on social media to get you excited!
Your complete gallery of photos will be ready 6-8 weeks after your wedding day. You will receive a link to a password-secured gallery where you will be able to view and download your photos, as well as order prints.
Once you have selected the photos for your album, we will design the initial draft and send it to you to review through the online slideshow. You can find more details on our album design and ordering process here.
