One of our favorite New Jersey wedding venues is the Madison Hotel in Morristown. It is a remarkable classy venue that features an exquisite observatory, beautiful bridal suites and outstanding ballrooms. There is plenty of unique and beautiful backdrops for some marvelous wedding imagery. Even though the variety of the outdoor photo opportunities is not that huge, there are some absolutely stunning locations nearby that are just 3-5 minutes of driving distance from the hotel.
One of them that caught the bride's eye the most when she was driving around Morristown and scouting the area, was an old Abbey right down the road from the Madison Hotel. Its light brown vibrant color was a perfect match for the overall wedding color pallet and its elaborate architecture served as a perfect backdrop for the couple's classy and elegant style. The main entrance looked especially eye-catching. The rectangular entry way embellished by some elaborate ornaments and texture served as a great compositional element to frame out bride and groom. This geometry component helped us to balance the photo beautifully and bring the overall attention to our couple. I especially love how the bride's veil is softly blown aside and how her delicate wedding gown stands out in front of the moody background.
