One of our favorite places to photograph weddings in North Jersey is Park Chateau. It is an extraordinary wedding venue nestled in New Brunswick on 15 acres of land. Park Chateau is a sister venue of Nanina's in the Park and Park Savoy, one of New Jersey top wedding venues.
When we photographed our first wedding at Park Chateau, my breath was brought away by its phenomenal architecture, sophisticated decor and elegant style. It has everything a modern bride can dream about to have on her wedding day.
One of my favorite features of Park Chateau is that it was planned with a bride and groom in mind. Lets just take a look at Park Chateau bridal suite. A big gorgeous room with high ceilings, that can fit as many bridesmaids as you could ever wanted to have without sacrificing anybody's comfort. The bridal suite features tall french door windows and some of them even have balconies! Just imagine a bride already dressed in her wedding gown, standing on a balcony and taking a moment to herself before the ceremony, taking it all in. Ahh, this space was created to a wedding day magic!
The windows allow for tons of natural light in the room with is always a huge benefit for beautiful soft skin tones, especially during wedding preparations.
There are plenty of stunning backgrounds to choose from when it comes to bridal party photos at Park Chateau. One of my favorite spots is right on the lawn in front of the main entrance of the venue. I love this particular perspective captured in both close up and wide-angle way. It is great to have the entire building in the shot as it tells the story in much deeper way and gives the viewer the sense of time and space. And in the end of the day, we always remember that the bride and groom chose their venue for a reason. So we always try to use any given opportunity to incorporate its key features in their wedding photos.
When it comes to portraits of the bride and groom, I always ask the couple prior their wedding day 'what do you like the most about your venue?' Or 'what are your favorite spots at your venue', 'why did you pick this particular venue'? The answers give me a good picture of the bride and groom likings and preferences. they give me a much better idea of what they value the most and what should I prioritize on my end as a photographer.
If you are planning a wedding at Park Chateau and looking for an experienced wedding photographer, I would love to chat with you and discuss your vision for your special day!
