The city of Philadelphia has so many exquisite and unique locations to offer for some remarkable wedding day photographs. You can choose between the grand and magnificent backdrops of the Philadelphia Museum of Art with its breathtaking view of the center city skyline and more intimate and subtle setting presented by the Old City parks and cobblestone streets and alleys.
Our bride and groom, Courtney and Michael, opted to have the Rodin Museum area for their family formals, bridal party photos and the portraits of the bride and groom together. It was a glorious sunny May afternoon and the weather couldn't be more pleasing. The light was soft and even which was great for the perfect skin tones. One of the biggest advantages of the Rodin Museum is that it is almost never crowded, even on the weekends. You also are not required to have a permit to have your wedding photographs taken there like other popular historic locations in Philadelphia. The museum outdoor area boasts some marvelous architectural backgrounds and has tons of beautiful greenery and trees.
We always strive to have our clients look relaxed and natural on their photographs. So after an hour of documenting the family formals and their big bridal party, the bride and groom were happy enough when we just let them be together, be themselves and enjoy the moment.
