Being a Philadelphia wedding photographer might be one of the most rewarding careers I've ever dreamt of. Over 10000 weddings are taking place in Philadelphia each year and as photographers, we are so honored to be a part of some of those once in a lifetime events.
It is a common question that a lot of our wedding clients ask us when they inquire about their Philadelphia wedding. The average is 9-12 months prior the wedding day. Since we are serving our clients on first come first serve basic, we cannot 'write you in' or 'hold the date'. The date is officially secured and reserved for you only once the wedding photography contract is signed and the retainer is received.
I am always welcoming an opportunity to meet our couples in person at our studio in the Old City Philadelphia. We can chat, get to know each other better in person, flip through some wedding albums and discuss how we can best serve you and tailor our work to meet all of your expectations and wedding ideas.
If you have booked an engagement session with us, we will discuss what season of the year and what location you would like for your session. We will also send you an 'Engagement Session Tips and Advice' guide packed with useful information to help you to prepare. Things like what to wear, what to bring, what to avoid, where to go and when to start the session - we have got all of that covered for you in our guide!
After you engagement session, all your high resolution edited images will be delivered via online gallery that works the same way as your wedding online gallery. They will be stored there for two years. You can download them at any time, share with you family and friends. You can also order a whole variety of printing goods such as prints, wedding save the dates, canvas, sign in books through that gallery. It's a win win!
Around 8-10 weeks prior your wedding day, we will send you a wedding questionnaire. It contains all the necessary information that will help us serve you the best on your wedding day. Things like the addresses for your wedding preparation location, starting time of your wedding ceremony, first look or no first look, parents and bridal party names etc. Also family situations like divorces or anything else that we should take into consideration and address people accordingly, especially during the family formals, will be mentioned in the questionnaire.
At that point we will also schedule a phone/skype call or an in person meeting. We will go over your wedding timeline, discuss all the portrait locations, any VIP people you will be having at your wedding, and any other special moments that will be happening through the day.
If you are getting married and Philadelphia, contact us today to check the availability for your date! We would love to hear from you!
